Over an area of twelve hectares and a height difference of 100 metres, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle present new a masterpiece of nature each year, lovingly designed and shaped by human hands. Laid out in the form of a natural amphitheatre, the garden impresses with over 80 garden landscapes with numerous plants from all over the world. What you can expect are colourful sun gardens, idyllic forest gardens, and picturesque water and terrace gardens, which are particularly beautiful in summer. Staircases and watercourses connect the different levels, creating a magical atmosphere where it is a pleasure to linger a little while longer. The rose garden is particularly impressive with its more than 50 wild rose varieties and 30 historical rose varieties. The best thing?
