Criteria for admission

A “Belvita Leading Wellness Hotel” is a hotel, which offers a vast spectrum of offers stretching from wellness in the building itself to offers in open nature, and which sees the “Wellness” theme as the main component of its entire philosophy and marketing policy. The hotel offers a high-quality and attractive full programme, which is characterized by 4 main elements: Wellfeeling – Beauty – Fitness – Vital Cuisine. Furthermore, the wellness concept is also mirrored by the entire range of equipment and the culinary offer. “Wellness” is the main motive for a guest’s stay in a “Belvita Leading Wellness Hotel”.

Minimum criteria in the area of “Wellfeeling“
- Hotel with a minimum of 4 stars and corresponding, modern overall equipment regarding to hardware, as well as special hospitality and service quality with regard to software, adapted to meet the requirements of demanding wellness guests
- Wellness as a clear, recognizable main emphasis of the hotel (hardware and software), which can be felt through the integral “Belvita Atmosphere of Wellbeing”
- Minimum price of 100,00 € per night inclusive of arrangement for a stay of up to 3 nights in a comfort double room of approx. 30m² incl. bathroom in the 4-star category
- Minimum price of 110,00 € per night inclusive of arrangement for a stay of up to 3 nights in a double room of approx. 30m² incl. bathroom in the 4-star S category
- Minimum price of 130,00 € per night inclusive of arrangement for a stay of up to 3 nights in a double room of approx. 30m² incl. bathroom in the 5-star category
- Appealing, quiet positioning of the hotel with low levels of noise nuisance
- Attractive, well-tended garden area or terrace directly at the hotel
- Every room's bathroom is equipped with make-up mirror and hairdryer
- Bathrobe, slippers and wellness basket or wellness bag can be found free of charge upon arrival of the guest in each room
- High-quality products (soaps, shampoo, etc.) can be found free of charge upon arrival of the guest in each room
- All wellness facilities (indoor pool, sauna, beauty, fitness, gymnastics) are located within the hotel
- All wellness facilities (except beauty treatments) are included in the overnight/arrangement rate
- A minimum of 15m² of wellness area for each room in the indoor area (indoor pool, sauna, beauty, fitness, gymnastics)
- Indoor pool open daily from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Jacuzzi in the indoor or outdoor area (can also be integrated in the pool)
- Kneipp option in the wellness area, preferably in the sauna
- Attractive sauna area with a minimum of 3 different sauna cabins
- The sauna is open for at least 6 hours daily
- A guided, announced sauna infusion takes place on 5 days of the week
- At least 1 separate, closed off room for solarium
- Tea, juices and mineral water available free of charge in the wellness area
- At least 1 guided relaxation unit free of charge (e.g.: positive thinking, mentality training, breathing exercises, autogenous training, Yoga, Qi Gong, 5 Tibetans) offered by a certified employee or a vitality trainer on 5 days of the week
Minimum Criteria in the area of “Beauty“
- Reception hall with seating option
- A minimum of 5 treatment cabins in the beauty area for up to 40 rooms; from 40 rooms a minimum of 6 treatment cabins, whereby at least one of these has to be a separate room for bathing treatments or packs
- A minimum of 2 full-time experts in the beauty area for up to 40 rooms; from 40 rooms a minimum of 3 full-time experts
- All treatments are carried out by employees only, who can provide proof of education which is recognized by experts. Their diploma will be hung on the wall and made visible for guests
- The beauty area is open at least 7 days per week
- The beauty area is open at least 7 hours per day
- One typical South Tyrolean treatment is offered and also advertised in the annual brochure
- At least 7 different types of massages are offered
- At least 6 different types of baths are offered
- Beauty shop or display cases for selling products are available (can also be integrated into the reception)
- Use of high-quality beauty products
- Guests can book all treatments from home and in advance, and receive a booking confirmation
- Possibility of obtaining qualified information on beauty and wellness at the hotel reception and the option of booking all treatments there, whenever the Wellness Reception is closed
Minimum Criteria in the area of “Fitness“
- The fitness room is open 7 days per week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The fitness room disposes of a minimum of 2 modern pieces of equipment for stamina training and 3 for muscle training. Multi-functional equipment for strength exercises are considered as being 2 machines
- For 10% of the rooms the fitness area offers at least 5m² for each room in order to offer sufficient space for gymnastic exercises
- Sufficient information on the use of all sports equipment is available at the fitness area
- At least 1 guided exercise programme free of charge in the hotel or outside (hiking, cycling tour, Nordic walking, snow-shoe hikes, water gymnastics, etc.) on 5 days of the week
- At least 5 modern bicycles / mountain-bikes available free of charge
- At least 5 pulse rate metres available free of charge
- The wellness area offers a weighing scale
Minimum Criteria in the area of “Vital Cuisine“
- A five-course menu of choice incl. salad buffet every evening
- 1 Vitality Menu at least once a day (dietary, whole-food, vegetarian dishes, low-calories dishes, etc.) in addition to the normal menu (clearly stated on the menu list)
- Vitality corner at the breakfast buffet (fresh juices; cut, fresh fruit; muesli; fresh cheese; natural yoghurt; egg dishes; choice of different breads; etc...)
- Consideration of individual nutrition requests of guest (like dietary, allergies, etc….)
- One typical South Tyrolean product is offered daily
- All-day fruit basket to choose from free of charge
